Absolutely loved it from start to finish. The guides were incredibly friendly, organised and swung calmly into action during a minor incident. The running views were incredible and the routes were well planned, with plenty of refreshments tailored to personal preferences. Would 100% re-book to go again.

FAQ

GROUP MANAGEMENT

Being a group of max. 12 runners with a mixture of ages and running abilities we may decide to split into flexible groups, all of which will be supported by our running guides who will travel with us on the trip.

Splitting the group will allow us all to move more fluidly, allowing all team members to run at their own comfortable pace, without feeling pressured.

TRAIL RUNNING

The terrain is undulating and includes some steep uphill sections which we walk, as well as some shorter, steeper downhill sections at times.

We’ll be running through forested trails, rolling hills and up a low-level mountain. Underfoot conditions consist of hard-packed and forested trails which make for very enjoyable running, however, if it rains the trails could become slippy. Trail running shoes are advisable.

TEMPERATURES

We run the trails in spring when the trails in waterfall country will be lush and green. We can expect daily temperatures to sit on an average of 15 - 18 degrees C.

You should also prepare for the chance of rain and wind, as well as bright sunshine.

PROFESSIONALLY LED

The journey will be hosted by two qualified running guides, we’ll travel as a group at a sociable and easy running pace that suits everyone in the group.

PACE OF THE WEEKEND

Designed for beginners/intermediates this is an easy-paced weekend without pressure. We welcome all levels of runners regardless of experience.
