As our business grows and with an even busier 2025 looming on the horizon Pure Trails is looking to recruit experienced trail-running guides to join our database of professionals.
We take small groups of like-minded people all over the world; from Albania to the Himalayas, with trips ranging from 5 to 14 days away from the UK. Our work offered is on a contract-by-contract basis.
We are a small, but growing team looking to expand on our existing database of professionals.
Typically our Trail Running Guides assist with the following:
Research, plot, plan and write adventure plans.
Write Risk Assessments.
Look after trip budgets.
On occasions, recce new areas for the company.
Develop and maintain relationships with in-country partners and contacts.
Leadership and management of the adventure team.
Organising and coordinating all administration.
Contingency, incident and emergency plans.
Responsible for all decisions made during the adventure.
Production of post-adventure reports and accounts.
You’ll probably have…
Experience in leading adult groups.
Developed new trail running adventures in a variety of locations across the world, either professionally or through independent travel.
Experience in managing budgets and administration.
Experience in risk and safety management.
Running guiding qualifications: LiRF, CiRF or equivalent
Wilderness First Aid or equivalent
Professional qualifications (e.g. International Mountain Leader or Mountain Leader); preferred but not required.
